EK Vitality Tip of the Week, Exercise & Healthy Recipe

Just a reminder there will be NO training next Saturday, July 15th but will resume the following Saturday, July 22nd.  


Healthy Tip of the Week: Stay Full Longer - Eat Protein!


Whether from lean meats, beans, dairy, tofu etc. eating protein with every meal will give you a feeling of fullness that will last longer and give high nutritional value to your meal.  Attempt to consume protein every few hours (2-4hours) with women eating approximately one palm size and men eating approximately two palm sizes.  This will vary from person to person (especially children) depending on size, activity level, health predispositions etc.  Avoid snacking by consuming nutrient dense foods instead of just calorie dense foods making you hungry more often.


Exercise


Try to complete 5 rounds of the following exercises in as little time as possible...Make sure to have proper form while performing all exercises!


15 Pushups

15 Jump Squats

15 Jumping Jacks

15 Burpees

15 Situps

Once you’ve rested, try completing it again beating your first time or attempting on another day!
